Job Summary
Role Title : Workday Solution Architect
Services Location : TX/Dallas
Duration : 6 Months
(LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY -- I WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THEY OPEN THIS UP TO OTHER AREAS --SEE OTHER SECTION BELOW Dallas local preferred with expectation to work in Dallas office (Addison); if candidate is strong will go for remote with travel required (20-30% travel); also willing to look at Boston MA candidates with expectation to travel (20-30%)
Role Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Solution Architect with 10 to 15 years experience to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide solutions within the Workday platform. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end architecture aligning business requirements with scalable system solutions and ensuring seamless integration across HR Finance and other enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across multiple Workday modules and will act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders while guiding implementation teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience in Workday HCM and/or Financials modules
Proven expertise in end-to-end solution architecture design
Experience with Workday integrations either of them (Studio EIB Core Connectors)
Hands-on knowledge of Workday security framework and business process configuration
Strong understanding of data architecture reporting and analytics
Experience with APIs web services (SOAP/REST) and middleware tools
Ability to design scalable high-performance and secure solutions
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Role Description Skills:
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
Experience leading full lifecycle Workday implementations (Design Build Deploy Support)
Deep knowledge of HR Finance Payroll and Recruiting processes
Define integration strategies across enterprise systems (ERP CRM payroll vendors)
Establish governance frameworks standards and best practices
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (functional & technical consultants)
Drive solution optimization performance tuning and continuous improvement
Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making capabilities
Experience working in Agile Waterfall or hybrid delivery models
Certifications Required / Preferred:
Certification Type Purpose
Workday HCM Certification Preferred Core expertise in HR modules and business processes
Workday Financials Certification Preferred Understanding of finance and accounting processes
Workday Integration Certification Mandatory Knowledge of integration tools and data flow
Workday Studio Certification Preferred Advanced integration and complex solution handling
Workday Reporting Certification Good to Have Supports analytics and reporting strategy
Workday Security Certification Good to Have Ensures proper access control and compliance
PMP / PRINCE2 Preferred Project governance and delivery management
AWS / Azure Cloud Certification Good to Have Cloud architecture and integration support
TOGAF Certification Optional Enterprise architecture framework expertise
