DGM Services Inc. is a global provider of services and products related to dangerous goods offering comprehensive solutions for various product lines including dangerous goods packing in-transit warehouse storage on-site packing and more. DGM ensures regulatory compliance by preparing shipments according to specific dangerous goods regulations.

Role Description

The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who has a proven track record of developing new sales opportunities and the ability to nurture and grow their current customer base. This individual is an unstoppable sales force that utilizes the resources and training provided by DGM to maximize their potential and will be committed and driven to progress the sales team. They will develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers and will be responsible for creating new business opportunities resulting in an increased book of business and coinciding revenue.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university required; equivalent years of experience required.
  • 3 years of experience in outside sales in related industry field i.e. particularly within the custom packing crating logistics and dangerous goods compliance services industry etc. with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
  • Proven experience as a sales representative in related industry field preferred i.e. freight forwarding packing warehousing logistics transportation etc.
  • Capable of converting prospective buyers to loyal customers
  • Must have excellent selling communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software; Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Must have strong customer service and rapport
  • Must be willing to travel frequently as required to customers site.
  • Hazmat or DG knowledge is a plus.
