Job Summary:

The IT Senior Support Specialist provides ongoing management information system user support through phone or on-site visits. This role involves troubleshooting end-user problems analyzing and designing software modifications and potentially developing and conducting training programs. The specialist owns assigned tasks and may lead or train staff.

Responsibilities:

- Provide management information system user support via phone or on-site visits.
- Troubleshoot end-user problems.
- Analyze and design software modifications to meet user needs.
- Develop and conduct training programs for software/hardware users (potentially).
- Own assigned tasks.
- Serve as a lead or train staff (potentially).
Required Skills & Certifications:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of education or experience in information security privacy system/network administration and support or application development.
- Training and experience necessary to independently provide technical support to computer users.
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing both front and back-end technical support for 3rd party application products including deployment/implementation application modification and application error debugging.
- Demonstrable skill and hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving application issues application deployment application configuration scripting performing data analysis writing SQL and stored procedures.
- Advanced technical skills and knowledge.
- Java or Other programming languages
- JavaScript
- Groovy Script
- XML
- SQL
- PL SQL
- Oracle databases
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience working with Java-based 3rd party web applications.
- Experience providing support for Agile Assets/Trimble Asset Management system.
Special Considerations:

- This is a senior technical support specialist position requiring advanced technical skills and knowledge.
Scheduling:
- Regular 8 am to 5 pm EST.
