Position Summary The NICU Clinical Manager provides day-to-day operational leadership and ensures the highest standards of patient care staff engagement and safety within the NICU and related perinatal services.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily NICU operations staffing and clinical performance.

Build and maintain a culture of teamwork transparency and accountability.

Collaborate with nursing leadership physicians and hospital administration to enhance patient care and service delivery.
-
Implement and evaluate policies procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
-
Manage budgets staffing plans and resource allocation to meet departmental goals.
-
Lead training mentoring and staff development programs to promote professional growth.
-
Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness at all times.
-
Partner with HR on recruitment retention and diversity initiatives.
Qualifications -
Current California RN license required.

Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
-
Minimum 3 5 years of NICU and/or Postpartum clinical experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
-
Strong communication leadership and decision-making skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a union environment.
-
Los Angeles County Fire Card and ARC certification required within 30 days of hire.
