Cardiac Cath Radiology Tech

Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Special Procedures and Electrophysiology Labs.

In this role you will operate radiographic imaging equipment assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures and collaborate closely with physicians nurses and cardiovascular technologists to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

• Operate and maintain radiographic/X-ray equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Adjust exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety standards
• Position patients appropriately using immobilization and protective equipment
• Process label and verify imaging for accurate interpretation and archiving
• Ensure all procedures are properly documented transmitted and stored
• Assist in invasive procedures as:
  • Scrub technologist
  • Table-side support (panning)
  • Monitoring personnel
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency and add-on procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and radiation safety protocols

• Follow all downtime procedures and departmental protocols
• Comply with organizational policies safety standards and quality initiatives
• Demonstrate alignment with the organizations mission and core values
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology preferred
• Strong understanding of:
  • Radiographic imaging techniques
  • Radiation safety standards
  • Sterile procedural environments
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-based clinical setting
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
