Job Summary

The Marketing Automation Specialist (Marketo) will be part of a Digital Marketing team playing a key role in building and executing Healthcare Professional (HCP) 1:1 marketing programs. This position focuses on developing testing and optimizing omnichannel campaigns to ensure targeted timely and effective customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build QA and execute low-to-medium complexity omnichannel campaigns including automated journeys and trigger-based programs.
  • Ensure accurate timely and error-free campaign deployment within the Marketo Engage platform.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation to ensure campaign accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize email deliverability including domain/IP reputation and inbox placement.
  • Identify campaign issues perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in Agile workflows including design build testing and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute A/B testing strategies analyze results and recommend optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Strategy Analytics IT and external agencies.
  • Provide project updates highlight risks and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Stay updated on marketing automation trends tools and best practices.
Top Required Skills
  1. Hands-on expertise with Marketo or similar platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  2. Strong experience in omnichannel and email campaign management
  3. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills (campaign performance deliverability)
  4. Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  5. High attention to detail with campaign QA and quality control processes
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 5 years of experience in:
    • Database marketing
    • CRM / Email marketing
    • Digital / Direct marketing
    • 1:1 marketing campaigns
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
  • Strong understanding of email marketing customer journeys and campaign execution
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Office
    • Basic HTML/CSS
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Marketo Expert Certification
  • Experience with Adobe Suite
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong background in marketing analytics and campaign optimization
