- Full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role in Cedar Hill TX
- Positions available at both elementary and middle school levels
- Schedule includes:
- Pull-out therapy sessions
- Classroom-based/intervention and integrated services
- Diagnostic evaluations
- Attending ARD (Admission Review Dismissal) meetings
- Collaborative consultation with professionals and families
- Participation in MTSS/RTI activities
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) technological support
- Travel between campuses as assigned
- Range of responsibilities:
- Prevention involvement including MTSS/RTI
- Assessment for initial referrals and re-evaluations
- Delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs
- Program design for various service delivery models in the least restrictive environment
- Data collection and analysis for students and programs
- Ensuring compliance with federal/state/local mandates and paperwork (IEP ARD Medicaid billing progress reports case management etc.)
- Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- TX SLP license (or eligibility)
- School and/or pediatric caseload experience (fieldwork accepted)
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
- Compensation: $52-55/hour (based on experience)
