Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in managing patients transitioning from critical care with the ability to adapt to a rotating shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to stepdown/progressive care patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms vital signs and patient status closely
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Patient Population

Adult Stepdown / Progressive Care patients

Required Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience
Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
Active RN License (Ohio or Compact State)
BLS (AHA or equivalent) Required
ACLS Required
NIHSS Certification Required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in PCU / Progressive Care settings
