Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive perioperative care across multiple areas of the surgical department including Pre-Op PACU Circulating and Endoscopy. This role requires a flexible nurse who can support a variety of surgical specialties while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.

Schedule
  • 5x8-Hour Day Shifts
  • 4x10-Hour Day Shifts may be available
  • Weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend
  • On-call requirement: Approximately 8 call shifts per month including nights and weekends
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN License
  • BLS Certification
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Perioperative/Operating Room experience
  • First-time travelers accepted

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience
  • Prepare patients for surgical and procedural interventions
  • Circulate cases and maintain a safe surgical environment
  • Monitor patients during recovery and post-anesthesia phases
  • Assist with endoscopic and procedural services
  • Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers and surgical staff
  • Document patient care accurately within the EMR
