As an Expeditor you will beactively calling to expedite and improve delivery on open Purchase Orders. You will pro-actively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements. Communicating with customers while resolving issues. You will have a direct impact on the bottom line!

Responsibilities:

• Proactively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements.

• Maintain accurate expected ship dates on open purchase orders and inform sales team of any potential delays to customer orders.

• Update sales order dates and notes with current shipment information

• Compile organize and report vendor delivery performance to purchasing management and other key organizational stakeholders.

• Assist with miscellaneous duties and project as assigned by manager.

Required Skills:

• Superior organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills used to establish and build strong relationships.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees within the organization as well as customers vendors and suppliers regarding the delivery timelines and impact to the business.

• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite namely Excel Word & Outlook.
