Job Summary
The IT Systems Support Specialist provides frontline IT support while maintaining Inprias hybrid IT environment. This role combines end-user support with operational responsibilities across Microsoft 365 endpoint management networking and on-prem systems. The position also supports digital transformation initiatives including ERP LIMS and MES platforms by ensuring reliable endpoint access and user support across office lab engineering and warehouse environments. This position will report to the IT Site Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1/2 support for hardware software access and connectivity issues across business lab engineering and operational teams.
- Provision and deprovision user accounts endpoints and access in Active Directory Microsoft 365 Entra ID and Intune.
- Support endpoint lifecycle management including deployment compliance refresh asset tracking and recovery.
- Support Microsoft 365 services basic network troubleshooting and on-prem infrastructure as needed.
- Troubleshoot peripherals and operational technologies including scanners mobile devices label printers and related software.
- Assist with user-facing support for ERP LIMS and MES systems and help align IT systems with business workflows.
- Follow security and IT operations standards maintain documentation and contribute to process improvement and automation efforts.
- Provide on-site support in Beaverton and occasional domestic or international travel as business needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related technical or scientific field preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT support systems administration or a similar hands-on technical support role.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Entra ID Intune Windows administration and common end-user peripherals.
- Working knowledge of core networking concepts such as DNS DHCP VLANs and Wi-Fi.
- Experience working in a ticketing or help desk environment with strong customer service documentation and follow-through.
- Preferred experience supporting Meraki or Cisco environments Zero Trust or Zscaler Microsoft Sentinel or SIEM tools and barcode mobile or label-printing systems.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate CompTIA Network or Security and ITIL Foundation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods across a large campus environment including use of stairs and elevators.
- Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry analysis and presenting information.
- Ability to navigate and work within tight or confined spaces including under desks equipment areas and network closets.
- Ability to wear standard cleanroom attire and other required PPE in areas that require it.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 40 pounds and perform hands-on tasks requiring bending reaching and manual dexterity.
- Forty (40) hours per week or more may vary depending on department needs; occasional weekend holidays or overtime work may be required.
- 100% of work hours are expected to be onsite.
- Required to travel up to 10% of the time for domestic support including occasional overnight travel.
