Commercial Glass TechnicianPay Rate:$18/hourSchedule:Monday-Friday8:00 AM 5:00 PMJob Summary:We areseekinga dependable and safety-focusedCommercial Glass Technicianto join our team. This position is ideal for candidates withgeneral construction installation or trade experiencewho are comfortable usinghand and power toolsand working on commercial job sites. Prior commercial glass experience is helpful butnotrequired we provide on-the-job training for candidates whodemonstratestrong work ethic mechanical aptitude and a commitment to willassistwith the installation repair and replacement of commercial glass products whilemaintaininghigh standardsof workmanship job site safety and Responsibilities:Travel to commercial job sites toassistwith glass installation and repair projects Measure prepare and install glass and related components under supervision and training Use hand and power tools (drills grinders levels saws etc.) safely and effectively Assistwith installing commercial doors windows storefront systems and other glass assemblies Install or assistwith showers and interior glass applications as needed Help lift position align and secure glass panels frames and hardware safely Apply sealants caulking gaskets and weatherproofing materials as trained Assistin reading and following basic drawings layouts or work instructions Inspect completed work for proper fit appearance and stability Maintain clean organized and safe job sites at all times Maintain tools equipment and company vehiclesreportdamageor safety concerns Follow all company safety policies OSHA guidelines and PPE requirements Communicate professionally with supervisors contractors and team membersQualifications:Any construction installation or trade-related experience preferred Experience using hand and power tools required Willingness to learn commercial glass installation techniques Basic math skills and ability to take accuratemeasurements Safety-minded with the ability to work carefully around glass and at job sites Ability to lift carry and maneuver materials safely with assistanceas needed Comfortable working at heights on ladders lifts or scaffolding (with training)Ability to perform physical work including lifting bending climbing and standing for extended periods
