WHAT WILL I DO

As our Accounting Controller youll play a central role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in leading day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance across all financial activities
• Develop clear accurate financial reports that provide leadership with meaningful insights for decision-making
• Establish maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee the general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll oversight and reconciliations
• Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes and systems to support organizational growth
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights budgeting support and strategic recommendations
• Coordinate with external auditors tax professionals and regulatory agencies as needed
• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Monitor cash flow financial performance and key metrics to support informed decision-making
• Support cross-functional teams with financial data analysis and reporting needs
• Build and maintain a well-structured financial calendar to ensure all reporting and compliance deadlines are met consistently and on time
• Design and implement a robust two-step approval process for payments

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field with at least three years of accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems
• Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
