  Position Summary

  • Develop innovative concepts and designs that meet customer needs while expanding UPCs design portfolio
  • Produce a full range of design deliverables from initial concept sketches to detailed technical drawings for production
  • Create clear concise and easy-to-follow instructions to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing processes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with frequently evolving design requirements
  • Organize and maintain project files and assets to support efficient workflows and version control
  • Communicate effectively and consistently across cross-functional teams to align design and production goals
  • Utilize IT skills to handle various file formats conversions and ensure interoperability between design tools
  • Apply knowledge of networking file management file sharing and cloud technologies to support collaboration and efficiency
  • Support and encourage team adoption of new tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve communication
  • Contribute to UPCs technical evolution by promoting flexibility innovation and problem-solving across the organization
  • Play a key role within the design and engineering team to help lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives

  Facility Equipment & Work Environment

  • CAD Software: AutoCAD
  • 3D Modeling Software: Blender
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator etc.)
  • ERP (Odoo)

  Education & Experience

  • Preferably 2 years working as an engineer in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc.).
  • A portfolio with examples of your work.
  • Familiar with basic I.T. concepts: Various operating systems software file formats and file management/distribution/sharing/cloud etc.
  • Good communication skills & comfortable working with people throughout different departments.
  • Must have a strong aptitude working in an ERP such as Odoo or other related systems.
