Ilderton Emergency Lighting is proud to be a part of the law enforcement and emergency vehicle services for over 6 years. We are dedicated to installing the best equipment in the best way possible to keep our law enforcement officers and emergency service personnel safe.

Position Overview:

The Emergency Lighting Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales of emergency lighting and upfit solutions for government and fleet vehicles. This role focuses on building relationships with municipalities law enforcement agencies and other government entities while managing the full sales cycle. Responsibilities range from initial inquiry and quoting to bid support and final delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive and comfortable navigating government purchasing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers to create emergency lighting quotes.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow emergency lighting and upfit business within government and fleet accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies municipalities and other public sector clients
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for emergency lighting systems vehicle upfits and related equipment
  • Assist in the preparation submission and follow-up of government bids RFPs and contracts
  • Collaborate with internal team (parts service and installation/upfit) to ensure seamless project execution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of emergency lighting products vehicle configurations and industry standards
  • Track leads opportunities and sales activity within CRM systems
  • Monitor bid opportunities and proactively identify new business with government agencies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable purchasing guidelines contracts and regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales and delivery process
  • Attend trade shows to attract business

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales and/or service.
  • Experience with emergency lighting systems and government vehicles is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication verbal and written.
  • Proficient in sales techniques.
  • Must be highly organized.
