Business Analyst

Acuity Inc. seeks aBusiness Analystto support a federal client by analyzing business processes defining requirements and translating stakeholder needs into clear actionable specifications. This role works with architects team leads engineers testers and stakeholders to support solution design data quality validation and delivery alignment.

• Analyze business processes workflows and user needs to define functional and operational requirements
• Elicit document and refine business user and system requirements with stakeholders and technical teams
• Translate requirements into technical specifications user stories process flows and acceptance criteria
• Support solution design by aligning business needs with technical approaches
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements
• Support data quality validation by defining business rules validation criteria and expected outcomes
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings reviews and working sessions
• Maintain requirements traceability and controlled project documentation
• Support user engagement feedback collection and change communication
• Validate delivered solutions against documented requirements and business objectives

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
• 5 years of experienceas a Business Analyst supporting technology data or software delivery efforts
• Experience analyzing business processes and translating requirements into technical documentation
• Experience developing user stories process flows functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• Experiencefacilitatingcommunication across stakeholders architects engineers and delivery teams
• Experience conducting gap analysis and process improvement assessments
• Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working inAgiledelivery environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supportingdata analytics or cloud platforminitiatives
• Experience with data quality validation business rules definition or requirements traceability
• Experience withJira Confluence or similar workflow tools
• Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
