Job Summary
Job Title: PackagerLocation: Onsite Packaging Warehouse - Mishawaka IN Pay Range: $17.50 per hourSchedule: Full-Time First ShiftPackager Overview:The Packager handles to package parts and kits in accordance with customer specifications and work orders. This role requires the application of packaging quality safety and basic technical skills to ensure productivity accuracy and compliance with company Key Responsibilities:Package automotive parts and kits in accordance with work orders and customer and perform upkeep on packaging tools such as staple guns and tape clean and organized work all company rules safety guidelines and damaged defective or non-conforming materials and report productivity and performance goalsPackager Core Skills:1. Packaging Accuracy & Order FulfillmentPackage parts and kits correctly and on timeMatch part numbers and labels accurately2. Quality AwarenessNotice damaged missing or non-conforming partsCompare labels and part numbers to work ordersFollow packaging instructions carefully3. Equipment & Tool HandlingSafely use packaging tools such as scanners staple guns tape machinesCan perform basic computer tasks such as logging and using split screens4. Safety & Workplace OrganizationDemonstrated ability to follow all safety rules and proceduresKeep workstations clean neat and sad5. Basic Math & ReadingRecognize letters and numbersCount parts accurately6. Communication & TeamworkAbility to communicate errors and issues to team leads and quality departmentCan share suggestions and ideas for improvementBasic English language skills or willingness to learnPackager Qualifications:Reliable transportationAbility to work assigned hours and scheduleDependable in repetitive and physical work
