Location:Canton Georgia 30115
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting pharmacists in medication preparation distribution and inventory management while ensuring accuracy safety and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling compounding and dispensing medication orders
• Prepare package and label pharmaceuticals accurately
• Perform medication distribution and delivery tasks
• Maintain inventory including specialty medications and controlled substances
• Demonstrate proficiency in two or more pharmacy areas such as:
  • Production/Distribution
  • Oncology
  • Inventory Management
  • Narcotics Handling
  • Compounding
  • Outpatient/Home Care services
• Provide support for patient care across all age groups (neonate to geriatric)
• Ensure compliance with safety infection control and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications

• MUST have hazardous drug and chemo compounding experience preferably with experience in oncology facilities.
• Required Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
• AHA BLS

• Travel assignment local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius
