Job Title: IT Technical Writer

Hours: Regular Full-Time

Salary Range: $80k/yr - $94k/yr

What you will be doing:

This Person shall develop write and edit materials for reports manuals briefs technical specifications instruction books catalogs and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures. Specifically Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint Wiki GitLab Technical Writing and UI text.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Ability to multi-task prioritize staff requests and set expectations.
• Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.
• Self-sufficient and resourceful and able to work independently and take overseership of the project.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of IT concepts ability to translate into technical software documentation.

Education:

• AA/AS from an accredited college or university
• or substitute with 3 years experience.

Certifications:

• b. Require anyone of the following IAT Level I (A CE CND Network CE SSCP CCNA Security) and CE/OS Certification.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. The ability to move files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
