Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Inside / Outside Sales
Location: Hybrid

NMLS License Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our credit union mortgage team. This hybrid role combines company-provided leads with self-generated business through referral and community relationships.

Our ideal MLO is sales consultative relationship-driven and passionate about delivering a member-first lending experience from application through closing.

What Youll Do

• Convert company-provided leads and internal referrals into closed loans
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors builders and community partners
• Conduct mortgage consultations (phone virtual in-branch)
• Complete applications disclosures and compliant loan files
• Manage pipeline timelines and provide proactive member updates
• Participate in community marketing and business-development events

What Success Looks Like

• Meeting or exceeding mortgage production and conversion goals
• Delivering a high-quality consultative member experience
• Supporting members outside normal business hours when needed

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license (required)
• 510 years of residential mortgage lending experience
• Minimum $6MM in outside mortgage production in the past 12 months
• Strong relationship-based sales and communication skills
