OnSite Specialist Iowa City, IA 2nd Shift + 1 Shift Premium

As an Endoscopy OnSite Specialist youll play a critical role in supporting surgical teams by managing the transportation reprocessing and highlevel disinfection (HLD) of flexible endoscopes and TEE probes in alignment with hospital policy and ANSI/AAMI standards helping ensure equipment processes and workflows run smoothly to drive exceptional patient care.

What You Will Do

• Transport flexible scopes and probes safely between procedural areas and reprocessing sites take the lead on leak testing manual cleaning and automated or manual HLD and ensure every processed scope and probe is promptly returned to its designated storage location to keep teams moving and patient care flowing.

• Maintain communication with clinical departments regarding instrument availability.

• Validate and document all HLD cycles and labeling while maintaining accurate detailed records including procedure information equipment usage monthly performance metrics and account updates to ensure compliance and continuity of service.

• Stay current through ongoing training maintaining a strong working knowledge of Stryker equipment disposable products and new technologies while educating clinical staff on product use.

• Follow all safety facility and privacy standards including patient confidentiality requirements while maintaining a professional appearance work ethic and customerfocused mindset.

• Provide flexible coverage including rotating schedules oncall overnight and weekend shifts and support for other accounts within and outside your region which may require travel.

What you will need:

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates degree or equivalent certifications.

• 1 year of experience in customer service technical assistance clinical support supporting sterile workflow operations or operating room environments.

• Knowledge of anatomy surgical procedures and instrumentation.

• CER certification (required within six months of hire (or per state legislation) along with ongoing annual continuing education to ensure lasting compliance and professional growth.)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 0 years of related work experience.

• Ability to work rotating schedules including oncall overnight and weekend shifts and maintain readiness to arrive within 45 minutes when on call.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently; ability to stand walk bend stoop and use fine motor skills for extended periods.

• Visual acuity (corrected) color vision mobility and dexterity to identify and correct small inconsistencies in equipment or documentation.

• Strong analytical problemsolving and timemanagement skills with the ability to make independent decisions in highpressure environments.

• Ability to clearly explain and follow detailed guidelines and procedures.

• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) and strong interpersonal verbal written and organizational skills.

• Ability to travel and provide coverage at other accounts as needed including occasional overnight travel.
