RN/Registered Nurse PRN III NICU

Work location: 4400 Long Prairie Rd. Flower Mound TX 75028
Work hours: PRN Days. PRN III requires you to work 6 shifts (2 call shifts) per 6-week schedule with 2 weekend shifts and holiday coverage is generally 1 major/2 minor holiday shifts but can vary based on operational needs.

Heres What You Need
Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or
Associates Degree Nursing Required Or
Bachelors Degree Nursing Preferred
1 Year clinical nursing experience Required
1 year of NICU experience is highly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

A high degree of confidentiality positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

As a nurse you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness while providing safe patient care.
