Summary
We are currently looking for a SCM Analyst 1 Export Supply to join our team in Mexico city Aguascalientes or Toluca. The Aftersales Parts Supply Export Team is responsible for a variety of inventory control activities which support a number of Export customers. They will act as the single point of contact for all Export customers. Specific activities include follow up on export orders with estimated delivery timing and working with local SCM analysts to determine order timing and part availability. This role will involve interfacing with internal NNA teams and external export customers to provide order status ship timing and general part information. They will collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain functions such as Inventory Management PDC Operations Logistics Packaging Dealer Support technical teams such as PPE and Engineering TCS and other functions. This role also supports export claims processing and will act as the primary contact for receiving and processing of all export customer claims.
A Day in the Life:
- Daily collaboration with local analysts to ensure timely shipment and follow up of open Export orders obtaining ETA information for escalated situations expediting critical parts to resolve backorder situations etc.
- Interfaces with related internal departments to solve part availability customer ordering and various shipping issues to ensure consistent flow of parts to NNA Export customers
- Administers the Export customer claim process by receiving claim requests and working with internal team to assign disposition and submit for payment
- Administers the ordering process for specified commodities for our dealers and Export customers (Batteries Keys Campaign related etc.)
- Administers process that creates special orders to support internal Nissan requests for special circumstances related to Export customer orders
- Updates databases and provides reports to leadership in regards to critical Export backorders suspended orders fillrate etc.
- Work with internal accounting departments to ensure Export claims and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Who Were Looking for:
Required:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university plus a minimum
- Overall 1 -3 years of experience in Finance or Supply chain management.
- Experience using MRP or other dynamic inventory control systems (1-3 years)
- Background in master scheduling engineering change control statistical analysis inventory control systems obsolescence control and familiarity with purchasing systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Power Point)
- Inventory Control and Forecast Planning Tools
- Professional English level (spoken and written); Fluent Advanced.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 20%.
