We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in providing advanced engineering solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. This is a full-time proactive role based in Ahmedabad Gujarat focused on driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the sales team focusing on engineers who sell engineering solutions into pharma plants and pharma machinery OEMs.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors with a preference for experience in Single Use Technologies filtration WFI pharma plants Process Systems TFF/Sterile equipments and pharma machinery OEMs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including Pharma/Biotech End users Engineering consultants Project and Purchase Managers.
- Conduct technical discussions with clients regarding pharma/biotech products/processes filter validation P&IDs and utilities.
- Provide expert advice and solutions to clients ensuring their engineering needs are met effectively.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (.) degree.
- 5 to 12 years of progressive experience in sales with a strong focus on engineering solutions within the pharma and biotech industries.
- Proven track record in process equipment sales and technical sales.
- Sales experience in Single Use Technologies filtration WFI pharma plants Process Systems TFF/Sterile equipments or pharma machinery OEMs is highly preferred.
- Comfortable discussing and understanding pharma/biotech products processes filter validation P&IDs and utility systems.
- Excellent understanding of client personas including Pharma/Biotech End users Engineering consultants Project and Purchase Managers.
- Strong understanding of the engineering solutions landscape within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a proactive sales environment.
