Job Summary
Support and enhance a variety of projects by maintaining and improving legacy
software systems.
Identify and address security vulnerabilities within legacy applications.
Utilize security scanning tools like Nexus IQ and Synopsys to pinpoint and
remediate security issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with infrastructure and external
teams to resolve penetration test findings.
Maintain legacy code (in Angular 4 JSF Spring 4 )
Test and debug using unit and integration testing as well as debugging tools.
Resolve a wide variety of issues by finding creative solutions solving complex
problems programming testing and debugging.
Provide deployment support to ensure the functionality of production systems.
Offer proactive and reactive production support troubleshoot issues and monitor
application health.

Recommend and participate in improving development processes and system
maintenance.

What you bring to the table:
Degree in Computer Engineering or Science or equivalent education and
experience.
Over 8 years of development experience focusing on legacy application
maintenance and security.
Proficiency in frontend and backend development
Frontend with JavaScript frameworks like JSF Angular 4 and modern
frameworks such as React and .
Backend with Java and
Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and Design experience.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on the root causes of
security issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with geographically
diverse teams.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and agile methodologies is advantageous.
Must be proficient in English; French proficiency is an asset.
