Full Stack Developer | Java (Spring, Hibernate) & , Cloud (AWS), REST APIs

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications with a focus on Java backend and React frontend technologies. This role entails creating scalable maintainable and high-performance software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to support business growth improve operational efficiency and ensure delivery of robust secure applications.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in Java (latest stable version preferred) including object-oriented principles Spring Hibernate or JPA for backend development

  • Strong knowledge of (latest LTS version) for building dynamic responsive user interfaces

  • Experience with RESTful API design and development

  • Version control using Git and familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle

  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices

• Preferred:

  • Knowledge of TypeScript and modern front-end testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Enzyme)

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins Bitbucket Pipelines)

  • Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes)

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance scalable high-quality Java-based backend services and React-based user interfaces aligned with business requirements.

• Collaborate with product managers UI/UX designers and other developers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.

• Write clean efficient and maintainable code conducting code reviews and adhering to best practices.

• Integrate frontend and backend systems using secure and optimized REST APIs.

• Participate in technical architecture discussions testing documentation and deployment activities.

• Troubleshoot technical and performance issues provide timely fixes and optimize application performance.

• Stay updated on evolving technologies tools and best practices and share knowledge proactively with the team.

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:
  Required: Java (with Spring Hibernate/JPA) JavaScript
  Preferred: TypeScript other scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting

• Databases/Data Management:
  SQL databases (MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server) experience with schema design stored procedures and data security

• Cloud Technologies:
  Cloud deployment experience (AWS Azure GCP) including services such as EC2 S3 Kubernetes and serverless options

• Frameworks and Libraries:
  Spring Boot Hibernate RESTful API frameworks testing frameworks (Jest JUnit)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of full-stack development experience with Java and React.

• Proven track record of building scalable maintainable web applications using Java backend frameworks and React frontend.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs integrating with third-party services and working in cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Agile development processes CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.

• Experience working on enterprise or large-scale projects in finance tech or consultancy sectors is preferred.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop enhance and deploy Java backend services and React interfaces based on project specifications.

• Collaborate in sprint planning reviews and daily stand-ups to ensure continuous delivery.

• Conduct code reviews unit testing and integration testing to maintain code quality.

• Troubleshoot optimize and resolve performance issues proactively.

• Participate in architecture discussions technical design and documentation activities.

• Support deployment monitoring and operational activities ensuring system stability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java and React technologies.

• Certifications in Java front-end development or cloud are a plus.

• Continuing education in new tools frameworks or emerging web technologies is encouraged.
