Job Summary:
The Production Operator will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses and electronic components as per detailed work instructions. The role requires precision adherence to quality standards and the ability to operate semi-automatic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret wire harness assembly instructions and technical documents.
- Gather required materials tools and equipment in an organized manner before starting tasks.
- Route wire and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards.
- Perform multiple hand assembly operations following detailed procedures.
- Operate semi-automatic machines such as crimp presses wire twisters and wire strippers.
- Conduct functional and continuity testing of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using testing fixtures.
- Use soldering tools to connect wires to switches connectors and other components.
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections during production and on finished products.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Hands-on experience in wire harness assembly (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of soldering and electronic components
- Familiarity with testing equipment and inspection processes
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in wire harness or cable assembly manufacturing
- Experience working with semi-automatic assembly equipment
Required Skills:
