We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented *Sales Manager* with strong technical and commercial acumen in the field of *Water and Wastewater Treatment* (WTP ETP STP). The candidate should have a proven track record in project-based sales client management and business development across industrial municipal and infrastructure sectors.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Strategy
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in WTP/ETP/STP markets.
* Identify new business opportunities in industrial municipal commercial and infrastructure sectors.
* Conduct market analysis to understand client needs competition and emerging trends.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
* Generate leads through cold calling referrals industry networking and participation in trade events.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants EPC contractors and government authorities.
* Maintain a deep understanding of client pain points and align solutions accordingly.
3. Project Sales & Technical Solutioning
* Promote turnkey solutions and EPC offerings for water and wastewater treatment projects.
* Understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions in coordination with the design and proposals team.
* Present detailed technical and commercial proposals to clients and consultants.
* Coordinate with internal teams for proposal submissions pricing and BOQ alignment.
4. Tendering & Proposal Management
* Monitor government and private sector tenders related to WTP/STP/ETP.
* Collaborate with the proposals team to prepare and submit technically and commercially compliant bids.
* Handle pre-bid queries attend pre-bid meetings and ensure all documentation is in place.
5. Commercial Negotiation & Order Closure
* Negotiate contract terms payment milestones and deliverables with clients.
* Ensure commercial viability and risk mitigation in deal structuring.
* Drive order closure by managing objections influencing decision-makers and demonstrating value.
6. Sales Forecasting & Reporting
* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide monthly/quarterly sales forecasts.
* Prepare MIS reports on order booking sales targets and market insights for senior management.
* Track and report competitor activities market intelligence and pricing strategies.
7. Post-Sales Coordination
* Coordinate with execution and project teams to ensure smooth project kick-off post order finalization.
* Act as a liaison between client and execution team to ensure client satisfaction.
* Handle client escalations during project execution if needed.
