Job Title : Marine Vetting Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities
- Collect evaluate and maintain vessel port and terminal vetting information proactively
- Support internal stakeholders by understanding operational and business needs
- Recommend improvements to vetting guidelines procedures and clearance processes
- Participate in industry work groups and maintain professional marine relationships
- Apply marine risk management principles to identify risks and safeguards
- Ensure compliance with marine regulations such as MARPOL SOLAS and SIRE
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across regions
- Apply operational excellence and marine assurance processes in daily work
- Exercise sound risk management judgment in decision-making
- Manage multiple vetting assignments simultaneously
Requisites
- Senior licensed deck or marine engineer officer
(Master / Chief Engineer / Chief Officer / First Engineer / Second Engineer - India system)
- Strong exposure to marine safety and assurance practices
- Familiarity with marine standards compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Business acumen and operational decision-making capability
- Basic data analytics and IT system proficiency
- Sailing exposure on LNG vessels is an advantage
- Familiarity with global marine regulatory practices preferred
- Analytical mindset with digital/system usage capability
