Job Summary
Job Description (JD) Weld shop Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily welding production as per production plan.
Allocate jobs to welders and fabricators.
Ensure completion of welding work within schedule.
Monitor production output and efficiency.
Coordinate with the bending tapping and assembly area for job flow.
Ensure on-time delivery of welded components.
Ensure proper job allocation and manpower utilization.
Maintain discipline on the shop welding machine performance.
Ensure welding as per drawings and fitment and alignment before welding.
Monitor weld quality and welding defects and rework.
Maintain quality standards of fabricated parts.
Ensure availability of welding wire electrodes and gas. Coordinate with stores for consumables.
Maintain proper storage of welding materials.
Improve welding efficiency and cycle rejection and rework.
Implement 5S in welding fixture and process improvements.
Maintain daily production manpower and output.
Record rejection and welders and new employees.
