Technical Lead – OnPrem Kubernetes Platform

Job Summary

We are seeking aTechnical Leadto design build and operate anext generation on premiseKubernetes platformsupportingmission criticalapplications. This is a seniorhands ontechnical leadership role responsible for platform architecture reliability security and production readiness.The role also plays a key part inmodernizing software delivery byleveraging Generative AI and agentic development tools acting as ahuman in the looptechnical leaderto ensure responsiblehigh qualityAI assistedengineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect build andoperateahigh availabilityon premKubernetes platformformission criticalworkloads.

• Own Kubernetes lifecycle management includingcluster bootstrap upgrades hardening backup and recovery.

• Lead troubleshooting of complex platform issues acrossKubernetes control plane networking storage and scheduling.

• Partner withSREDevSecOps Security and Infrastructure teamsto ensure production readiness and operational excellence.

• Define and enforce platformsecurity reliability scalability and operability standards.

• LeverageGenerative AI and agentic toolsto accelerate platform and infrastructure engineering.

• Act as ahuman in the loopauthorityforAI assistedand agentic development defining guardrails and quality standards.

• Provide technical leadership throughdesign reviews code reviews and mentoringof platform engineers.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.

• 7 years of experiencein platform engineering infrastructure or distributed systems.

• Stronghands onexpertisewith Kubernetesin production environments.

• Proven experience building and operatinghigh availabilitymission criticalplatforms.

• Experience working withLinux containers networking and storage systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withon prem edge orair gappedKubernetes deployments.

• Experience withinfrastructure as codeand automation(e.g. Terraform AnsibleGitOps).

• Experience partnering closely withSRE and Security teamsin regulated or operationally critical environments.

• Handson experience usingGenerative AI or agentic toolsto improve engineering productivity and quality.

• Prior experience as aTechnical Lead or Senior Individual Contributorfor platform teams.
