Permanent/Temporary/Full-Time/Part-time Panel Positions

We are seeking enthusiastic Psychologist (staff grade) with an interest in acquired disability and rehabilitation to work with our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH).

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above vacancies. Please note that successful candidates will be placed on a panel until a suitable vacancy arises.

The candidate must on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office possess:

A recognised University Degree or Diploma obtained with first- or second-class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.

A recognised postgraduate professional psychological qualification appropriate to the area of professional psychology in which the position is designated and graded. Candidates who have completed their post-graduate training outside the Republic of Ireland must ensure that their qualification is validated by the Department of Health and Children.

The requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

Experience of administering psychometric tests undertaking clinical evaluations providing recommendations interventions and clinical report-writing.

Research experience using a range of research methodologies.

Experience of working in a hospital environment and/or interdisciplinary team setting is advantageous.
