Job Summary
Salary 2026:
- First summer: $15.50/hr
- Returning seasonal employees: $16.00/hr
Positions will start mid to late May through mid to late August
Hours: 7:00-3:30 M-F with some flexibility for part-time options
Benefits include: PERA retirement
Summary of Position | Maintain PSDs playgrounds athletic fields lawn and grass areas and parking lots. |
Essential Functions | Mow and trim grass/lawns/fields Rake and remove leaves Perform light pruning Prepare and maintain athletic fields and tracks Provide minor sprinkler and fence repair |
Additional Responsibilities | Weekend work as needed Perform other job related duties as assigned |
Education and Experience | No prior skilled trades experience is required |
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities | Must be at least 15 years of age Must be able to safely lift and carry at least 50 pounds Flexible schedule through August |
LicensesRequired | Drivers license preferred some positions may require a drivers license and a motor vehicle report and you may be asked to bring a MVR report upon interview. |
