The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members with a variety of services including field operations fundraising support communications assistance digital strategy research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations along with Democratic Members from throughout the country. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.


Position Summary: The DCCC is hiring a Distributed Phones Manager for the 2026 election cycle. This person will design implement and oversee the DCCCs national distributed phones program working closely with the National Distributed Director and other members of the Organizing Leadership Team. Ideal candidates for this position will be strong and creative managers of people and programs who are excited about doing something that hasnt been done.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop strong relationships with other departments as well as external partners; build internal and external systems and structures to support the organizing team
  • Implements the distributed phones strategy working in conjunction with the National Distributed Director and National Organizing Team to set and define goals and design implement and execute the committees national phones program to key congressional districts
  • Manages the phones calendar making sure VPBs are built and completed iterating approaches to messaging and training to adapt to emerging needs
  • Develops and implements the phones program volunteer journey; working to define the process and pipeline by which volunteers join the program to begin calling and taking on volunteer leadership roles within the phones team
  • Manages the Distributed Phones Coordinator to build processes and structures to recruit train and manage teams of volunteer leaders to ensure volunteer dialers have high quality conversations with both supporters and potential supporters
  • Other responsibilities as necessary to ensure the success of the Organizing team
Requirements
  • 2 cycles (4 years) of organizing experience (electoral issue orgs labor etc) and 1-2 cycles (2-4 years) of staff management experience is preferred
  • Comfortability with predictive dialer technology peer-to-peer texting tools and relational organizing tools
  • Experience building and managing a distributed volunteer program on a statewide race is strongly preferred
  • Experience putting together a volunteer training program curriculum virtually and using digital tools to manage a volunteer network
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
