Managing Director, Strategy and Partnerships – Amazon Ads, Amazon Ads
Job Summary
This isnt a role for someone who manages relationships. Its a role for someone who builds the ecosystem forging transformative alliances with AI companies publishers platforms agencies and technology providers that define how intelligent advertising works across the region.
Key job responsibilities
Youll define and lead Amazon Ads regional partnership strategy across the UK and key European markets with AI CTV and Enterprise partnerships as a core organizing principles. From foundation model providers and AI-native ad tech companies to media owners enterprise platforms and agency groups youll architect the alliances that give Amazon Ads durable competitive advantage in one of the worlds most complex and rapidly evolving advertising ecosystems.
Youll identify new partnership surface area in creative automation audience intelligence bidding and optimization measurement and agentic media buying and build the commercial and technical frameworks to capture it.
Structure and negotiate high-impact commercial partnerships that unlock new revenue streams expand platform reach and establish Amazon Ads as the preferred Ads partner for advertisers across Europe. Youll own the commercial frameworks that make complex deals work inside UK and EU regulatory environments.
Youll prioritize partnerships that extend Amazons AI capabilities: integrations with AI model providers joint solutions with data and identity platforms and co-built offerings with technology partners that make Amazon Ads smarter faster and more valuable for buyers and sellers.
Youll work at the center of the business partnering with product legal engineering sales and marketing to bring partner offerings to life. Youll align global priorities with regional market realities shape how Amazons AI capabilities are positioned and packaged with strategic partners and represent partnership strategy at the executive level
Youll show up as a visible thought leader at the industry events roundtables and AI-focused forums that shape where the industry is heading and make sure Amazon Ads is part of that conversation
Experience in business development partnerships strategy or sales leadership roles within advertising media or marketing technology.
Proven success developing negotiating and scaling complex enterprise-level partnerships in the UK and European advertising ecosystem.
Strong understanding of the media and advertising value chainincluding ad tech publisher monetization data partnerships and agency/brand buying cycles.
Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent)
