Job Summary

E-Logic is seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Technician to provide end-user support services for the Joint Modernization Command (JMC) Fort Bliss TX. The selected candidate will serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues delivering timely troubleshooting and technical support for hardware software network connectivity and communication systems.

This role supports mission-critical operations and requires a proactive customer-focused professional capable of resolving technical issues efficiently and maintaining system functionality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests via phone email or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Desktop computers and laptops.
  • Network connectivity.
  • Printers copiers and fax machines.
  • Telecommunication systems and services.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware software and system issues within defined service timelines.
  • Configure install and maintain IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Provide Microsoft Windows (Windows 10) and Microsoft Office Suite support.
  • Assist users with email setup (Outlook) and application troubleshooting.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and coordinate with appropriate technical teams.
  • Maintain accurate ticketing logs and documentation of all service requests.
  • Support system setup configuration and teardown for operational or field activities.
  • Perform on-site support during exercises or events including workstation setup and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with security safety and operational procedures.


Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • CompTIA A certification.
  • CompTIA Security certification.
  • Microsoft Windows certification (e.g. MCTS Windows 10 or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting:
  • Windows operating systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware software and network environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
