Demand Planner – Medical APAC
Job Summary
About the role
As Demand Planner - Medical APAC you will be responsible for developing highquality datadriven demand forecasts across the APAC region. Based in Sydney youll combine statistical forecasting commercial insight and advanced analytics to influence inventory service levels and business outcomes across diverse markets.
About you
Youre an analytical and commercially aware demand planner who thrives in complex matrixed environments. Youre comfortable working with large datasets challenging assumptions and partnering with sales marketing and regional stakeholders to deliver accurate valueadding demand insights.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain accurate statistical and marketdriven demand forecasts
Analyse forecast trends risks gaps accuracy and bias and provide clear insights
Partner with regional and incountry stakeholders to improve forecast quality
Develop scenario modelling and whatif analyses to support decision making
Drive forecasting best practices and continuous improvement
Support S&OP / IBP processes through highquality demand inputs
Prepare management and executivelevel reporting and insights
Collaborate with global and APAC teams to align demand signals
Musthave experience / skills
3 years experience in supply and/or demand planning
Handson experience generating and tuning demand forecast models
Strong analytical and structured problemsolving skills
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Experience working with large and diverse product portfolios
Ability to operate effectively in a global crossfunctional environment
Nicetohave experience / skills
Bachelors degree (analytics or datafocused background preferred)
Knowledge of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes
Experience with SQL
Medical healthcare or regulated industry experience
