Job Summary
The Opportunity
The Business Partner Marketing contributes to connecting people to the safety system in order to improve safety behaviour. The Business Partner Marketing uses insights gained from our colleagues stakeholders clients and the general public to develop and implement a communication strategy through building awareness extending reach facilitating participation fostering trust and inspiring safety-minded decision-making.

Location: Vancouver or open to any of our BC regional offices (hybrid work environment)
Reports to: Leader Marketing & Communications
As a Business Partner Marketing you will support:
Advertising and Promotional Activities: Leads the planning and implementation of advertising and promotional activities including:
- Supports brand and marketing providing strategic advice to develop and share our value proposition and hands-on management of brand storytelling and articulation
- Uses digital marketing metrics and analysis to initiate and manage digital marketing campaigns including using SEM marketing database email social media and display advertising campaigns..
- Designs builds and maintains Technical Safety BCs social media presence and maintain social media presence across all digital channels.
- Develops opportunities for strategic storytelling and deliver to the right channels for the appropriate segments.
- Develops creative briefs to ensure an efficient process of initiating and delivering on campaigns.
- Measures brand sentiment on all digital channels.
- Plans executes and measures experiments and conversion tests.
- Increase market participation and connection through data decision making and understanding insights and segmentation.
- Develop opportunities for strategic storytelling and deliver to the right channels for the appropriate segments. Develop a creative brief to ensure an efficient process of initiating and delivering on campaigns. Collaborates with internal stakeholders for subject matter expert (SME) guidance feedback and approvals
- Actively collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners.
- Coordinates assigned departmental projects liaises with design firm consultants determines resource requirements ensures consistent usage of brand standards.
- Uses Hubspot to plan and execute email and social campaigns analyzes results and provides learnings for improvement
Client Insight: Contributes to client insights including:
- Identify trends and recommend optimization based on the insights.
- Tracks advertising and promotional initiatives and monitors financial resources.
Corporate Communications
- Works alongside internal teams and senior leadership to support creation of Annual Report
- Collaborates with Incident Investigations and change team to support incident publication and notification.
Knowledge Skills & Experience you have:
- Degree in Marketing or related field with 5-7 years experience in digital marketing leading and managing marketing databases email social media and/or display advertising campaigns or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong writing experience both short and long-form
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage inform and motivate.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing social ad buying
- Ability to engage an audience with creative thinking and writing.
- Experience with Hubspot or other enterprise CRM
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Knowledge of latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Exercise a high degree of initiative and judgement.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent organizational planning and time management skills.
