Role AtaGlance As a member of the Structural team this positionis responsible fordelivering structural field engineering support on a construction project site. You will work full-time onsite providing day-to-day structural input during construction coordinating with the contractor and other disciplines and helping ensure work is completed safely to specification and to a high standard of quality. You live and work to our Core Values of Quality Client Focus Team Sustainability and You Will DoProvide full-time onsite structural field engineering support including site observations coordination with the contractor and day-to-day resolution of construction issues. Review structural work for conformance with drawings and specificationsidentify deficiencies support corrective actions and document findings in site and respond to field questions (e.g. RFIs) communicate site conditions to the structural design team and assistwith review of shop drawings field changes and as-built information ongoing site presence and inspections for structural elements (including reinforcing formwork steel and concrete placement as applicable) andverify key hold points are met throughout directly with the client contractor and project stakeholders onsite to support schedule quality and constructability objectives and to help resolve issues quickly and assignment is full-time on the project site; occasional travel within Canada may be requiredforadditionalsite You Bring to the Table Bachelors degree in engineering with a focus on Structural Engineeringmasters degree in Structural Engineering is as Professional Engineer (.) of 5 years experience in structural with design of steel concrete masonry and wood structures seismic design and building codes. Experience with structural design software (such as ETABS SAP SAFE RISA Revit). Strong working knowledge of building systems and other building disciplines and how they interact with structures. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis. A commitment to providing exceptional client service and delivering practical creative solutions.
