Job Summary
K-8 Therapeutic Learning Center Teacher ESY Program
POSITION OVERVIEW
To plan and provide instruction to students who attend a therapeutic learning program during the school year and who require an Extended School Year (ESY) per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills information or behaviors per IEP
- Supervision of paraprofessionals
- Coordination of related service support
- Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers during and after the program
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:
- Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities Prek-8 certification required
- Teaching experience with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs
Schedule:
- July 6 2026 - July 30 2026
- 9:00 - 2:00 Monday - Thursday
- Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program
- Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
