Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to support front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role involves patient care clinical procedures and administrative duties to ensure smooth workflow and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients take/document vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy EKGs POC testing and assist with procedures
- Administer vaccines
- Schedule appointments manage calls and update EMR records
- Assist providers and maintain exam room readiness
- Support patient flow education and overall patient experience
Qualifications
- 1 year Medical Assistant experience (23 years preferred)
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- EMR experience
- Strong communication multitasking and organizational skills
Preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Occupational Health experience
