Monday: 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
Tuesday Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Record vital signs accurately
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and specimen collection
Administer vaccines and assist with basic clinical procedures
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing

Front Office Support

Greet and assist patients in a professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries
Maintain accurate records in EMR systems

Patient Care & Team Collaboration

Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff
Support providers to ensure smooth daily operations
Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
Hands-on experience with phlebotomy and EMR systems
Strong understanding of both front and back office workflows
Proficiency in patient rooming vital signs scheduling EKG and POC testing
Current BLS or CPR certification
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
