Job Summary
Role: Data analyst intern (remote position)
Work setup: Remote
Internship length: 3 months
Monthly pay: 1000 USD
This internship offers a strong balance between learning and responsibility. You will gain exposure to real datasets practical workflows and the kind of challenges that come with interpreting data in a business context. At the same time you will have guidance and support to help you build confidence and improve your technical and analytical skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Exploring datasets to identify trends inconsistencies and opportunities for deeper analysis
- Preparing data through cleaning organizing and validating information from different sources
- Creating reports summaries and visual representations that make complex data easier to understand
- Supporting the development of dashboards and recurring reports for internal use
- Assisting in defining data requirements based on team needs and project goals
- Communicating findings in a clear and structured way both in written and verbal form
- Collaborating with team members to improve data processes and reporting methods
- Contributing to ongoing projects where data plays a central role in decision making
- Conducting basic research to support analysis and provide additional context where needed
Requirements
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is curious dependable and willing to take ownership of their work. You should have a genuine interest in data and a mindset that focuses on understanding problems before jumping to conclusions.
A strong candidate will demonstrate:
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of studies in Data Science Statistics Economics Computer Science or a related discipline
- Working knowledge of tools such as Excel SQL Python or similar technologies used for handling and analyzing data
- An analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to organize information and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment
- Clear communication skills especially when presenting data or explaining findings
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from feedback
- Comfort with working independently while staying aligned with team goals
