Role Overview
QA Specialist ensures products and solutions meet real-world customer expectations by validating usability reliability and end-to-end experience beyond functional correctness in connected ecosystem.
This role integrates Quality Engineering Data Engineering and AI-driven insights to translate customer journeys usage signals and feedback into measurable acceptance criteria actionable insights and informed release-readiness decisions. The specialist works closely with Product Management Engineering UX and Quality teams to proactively identify customer friction predict acceptance risks and drive customer-aligned quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
Installs configures and tests and maintains operating systems application software and system management tools with a high degree of expertise and independence.
Monitors and tests application performance for potential bottlenecks identifies possible solutions and works with developers to implement those fixes.
Designs enhancements updates and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software including operating systems compliers networking utilities databases and Internet-related tools.
Analyzes design and determines coding programming and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Writes and executes complete testing plans protocols and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.
Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation including system architecture diagrams design specifications and user manuals.
Leads a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
Collaborates and communicates with management internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status project progress and issue resolution.
Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience preferably in systems engineering computer programming language or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

- Perform Customer Acceptance Assessments (CAA) using real-world customer journeys personas and behavior patterns due to connectivity failures.
- Translate customer expectations into clear testable acceptance criteria across firmware software cloud and solution layers.
- Identify usability gaps workflow friction reliability risks error-recovery issues and experience inconsistencies.
- Execute exploratory scenario-based and hypothesis-driven testing focused on customer usefulness and experience.
- Communicate customer impact and recommendations to stakeholders.
Data & Insights
- Analyze customer feedback telemetry defects test results and usage analytics.
- Design and support data pipelines for multi-source quality data.
- Build dashboards and metrics for acceptance and release readiness.
AI-Enabled Quality
- Apply AI-assisted analysis to predict customer friction and acceptance risks.
- Prepare datasets for ML models and AI agents.
- Integrate acceptance signals into AI-native quality platforms.
