Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Dual Trade Fitter with Mechanical and Electricalexperience to join our expanding team.
About the Role
- Workshop position
- Onsite maintenance role
- Afternoon Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Strip repair and rebuild mechanical equipment
- Attend to breakdowns as they arise
- Routine Preventative Maintenance
- Fault find and diagnose electrical equipment such as Electrical panels and boards
- Replace bearings shafts and motors
- Attend breakdowns and complete scheduled maintenance
- Carry out basic welding (MIG ARC TIG - highly regarded)
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential)
- Trade qualification (highly regarded)
- Experience withinheavy industrial environments (advantage)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Sound mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
