Position Summary:
The Senior Material Handler is a functional role that includes distribution order picking stocking packaging and other material handling and inventory control tasks to ensure timely and accurate shipments are made to our customers using various indicators or signals. To assure team continuity across all warehouse operations this position may also be required to learn perform and or be certified to assist within other areas of Warehouse Operations including material & inventory traffic or others as assigned.
The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure timeliness of execution appropriate safeguards to protect during transit and or other. Interacting with Customer Service Purchasing Planning Operations and Material Control to identify and meet business requirements. The role also works closely with these business partners to identify best practices and address challenges timely and appropriately.
HOURS: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday overtime as needed
PAY: $22hr overtime pay & quarterly bonus

What Youll Do:
- Timely processing of physical and ERP goods receipts including documentation and physical condition verification
- Verification of items picked for accuracy and condition
- Timely returns processing
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Perform physical and ERP goods movements
- Generate work orders from ERP if applicable
- Complete confirmations backflushing and work order goods receipts as applicable
- Process stock transfers and material requests
- Stock warehouse with material once approved for use
- Replenish production areas and other areas as assigned
- Assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Assist leadership in the development of improvement strategies and execution plans
- Cycle Counting as assigned
- Follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks
- Maintain and engage in promotion of a safe work environment
Skills Abilities and Experience:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years related disciplines experience required
- Previous forklift experience (counterbalance stock picker reach truck) required
- General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS required
Preferred:
- 3 years of warehouse experience in medical manufacturing
- Formal or informal training or leadership experience
- Process improvement Continuous Improvement (CI) or any experience improving/enhancing existing processes
- Previous experience working in a 5S environment
- Strong receiving experience
Other:
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced changing environment
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees customers contractors and vendors
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Safety Sensitive position
- Frequently: Push/pull 11-100lbs bed/twist reach below knee/above shoulder squat/kneel climb/sit speak/hear
- Continuously: lift/carry 10-55lbs stand/walk light grasping keyboarding writing seeing/vision/depth perception

Pay range for this opportunity is $22hr.This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors including but not limited to local labor market costs years of relevant experience education professional certifications foreign language fluency etc.
