Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in an acute care setting. This role involves assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care while ensuring high standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate care for Med/Surg patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Monitor patient progress and review diagnostic results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida RN license or compact license
- Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 90 days
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Acute care experience required (no recent LTAC experience)
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication critical thinking and basic computer skills
