Job Summary
Position
We are looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team of 5 colleagues. Youll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where accuracy ownership and a positive team spirit are key.
As an AR Accountant you play a key role in ensuring a smooth follow-up of our customer portfolio and incoming payments:
You translate sales contracts into accurate project and maintenance invoicing
You closely monitor outstanding receivables and customer credit balances
You send payment reminders and maintain contact with customers
You handle disputes in close collaboration with project managers
You report on the status of outstanding invoices to management
You support the finance team during month-end closing
You follow up on documentary credits from initiation to closure
Your profile
You hold a bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent through experience
You have at least 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role
You have strong Excel skills and are comfortable working with Business Central and MS Office
You are fluent in Dutch and English
You are customer-oriented but also able to act assertively when needed
You work accurately structured and with great attention to detail
You are well-organized and proactive in following up on tasks
You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
You bring positive energy and a solution-oriented mindset
