POSITION REPORTS TO: General Manager
DEPARTMENT: Dining Division
POSITION SUMMARY:
At Paradies Lagardère we dont just serve foodwe create experiences. As a Cook youll play a key role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our first-class hospitality standards in a fast-paced airport environment. From national brands to local concepts youll prepare cook and present food with precision consistency and pride. Your work directly impacts the guest experience making every plate count.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and brand standards
- Ensure food quality consistency and proper portioning at all times
- Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations and procedures
- Properly store label and rotate food items
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with inventory restocking and prep planning
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Adapt to high-volume service while maintaining attention to detail
- Support overall kitchen operations and assist where needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment preferred
- Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required by state
- Strong attention to detail time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in high-heat environments and standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
AVAILABILITY:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
