A vacancy has arisen for a Flight Sergeant (Any Profession) to serve as Flight Sergeant Marketing at RAFC Cranwell on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 07 September 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status but not before 8th June 2026).
RAF Recruitment and Selections (R&S) Mission is to recruit the high-quality people needed to sustain RAF Operational capability today and into the future. The Main Effort is to maximise delivery against the Into-Training Requirements (ITR). As FS Marketing you will work within HQ R&S Attract pillar supporting the delivery of all Marketing campaigns at both national and regional level. You will liaise directly with our external specialist agencies and RAF internal stakeholders to ensure all campaigns generate the maximum Expressions of Interest (EOIs) in support of the ITR for Regulars Reserves and Rejoiners. The delivery and planning of campaigns embrace current requirements and Service discharging your duties you are to ensure that both best practice and value for money are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Assist SO3 Marketing with the delivery of all Attract Marketing campaigns on both a national and local level ensuring highest of standards and suitable measurement of effect is in place.
- Line Management and Reporting Officer duties for 1x SNCO and 1x AS1.
- Support internal and external requests for R&S Marketing support providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance to ensure RAF Recruitment brand integrity and maintaining highest standards.
- Coordinate Marketing content internal reviews and approvals ensuring relevant stakeholders input prior to release.
- Be the focal point and Superuser for the Marketing SharePoint page ensuring content is stored correctly and the pillar is compliant under Information Assurance.
- Providing advice guidance and support to the Armed Forces Recruitment Service(AFRS) Team during the transition to implementation on 1 Apr 27.
- Assist COS Attract with management of the pillars work procedures responsibilities and upward reporting such as station guard register keys F540 and workforce trackers.
- Deputise for SO3 Marketing during periods of absence and undertaking associated duties.
- You may also be required to undertake reasonable tasks as directed by your line manager commensurate with your rank and experience.
